MILWAUKEE — President Barack Obama is planning to visit Wisconsin later this month — another sign of the state's battleground status.

An invitation says Obama will hold a fundraiser and roundtable discussion at the Milwaukee Theater on Sept. 22.

Donors must give a minimum of $250 to attend the general reception in Milwaukee. Those who contribute $5,000 to the Democratic president's campaign fund are also invited to a photo reception and VIP reception.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that the cost to attend a roundtable discussion with Obama is $25,000.

Ben Sparks, a spokesman for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney criticized Obama for dropping into Wisconsin simply to raise campaign cash.

Obama's campaign told The Associated Press it had no comment.

This would be Obama's first visit to Wisconsin since February.

Charging $250 admission for a "roundtable" discussion means that he will be fielding questions from his own biggest supporters. I bet we will get some groundbreaking solutions to our problems there??!! Only pats on the back and cheers for his stunning and brave actions in taking down Osama!! What a joke.

To avoid the ballot process knowing this party would not be able to gather enough signatures began subverting the GOP 25 - 30 years ago. It began by replacing existing republicans who voted against Reagan in congress with their "believers". This practice is in place today as we speak.

The GOP is dead but this group retained the GOP name. This group with the help of Koch money,Wal-Mart family Money, AMWAY family money and Blackwater/Prinz family money
and money from millions of republicans who were not and are not paying attention...... bought the GOP.

Yes the GOP got bought before our very eyes. This action became apparent to me during the Reagan/Bush days as long time old school republican were meeting fierce opposition by this
right wind ideology declaring themselves republicans. Newt Gingrich became a busy man at the forefront of this scandal.

30 years ago the onslaught began and the GOP is dead murdered by extreme right wing ideology and big money. Meet the group now posing as republicans:

Meanwhile, Romney continues to lose support among previous Republican blocs. They won't even hold their noses for him this time. He's cut ad money out of Michigan - his home state - and Pennsylvania. When that happened, analysts were saying if he was conceding the loss of those states he would need to win ALL the other swing states to get enough electoral votes to win in November. Today we're seeing that R-money is trailing in Ohio, VA, and FL.

You guys should have begged Jeb to run against his brother's record. It was the only hope you had.
